Blasphemy?

Jesus - Therefore I say to you, any sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven people, but blasphemy against the Spirit shall not be forgiven.

As I realize the depth of hypocrisy in my own heart, I find it really hard to believe that blasphemy against the Spirit of God is the 'biggie'. How can personal hypocrisy to the extent that I possess and practice it be forgiven?
